Feng Changjian 冯长江 (1943~)

Feng Changjiang, born in Hua County, Henan Province in 1943, studied Xi Western paintings earlier, attacked Chinese ink paintings, and then turned traditional Chinese calligraphy. In 1974 , he studied traditional meticulous paintings and ancient paintings with the famous art historian Pan Weizi. The copying and research of the murals laid a solid foundation for the future art style. Feng Changjiang's works emphasize the rhythm of traditional lines and incorporate the rich colors of Western paintings to form a distinct personal style, which is very contemporary.

In 2008, he was selected as one of the "300 most outstanding artists in the world in recent 200 years" by the authoritative website of art critique in the US, among the five Chinese artists selcted, Chen Yifei was also included.
