Zhao Yunyu 赵蕴玉 (1916-2003) In his long artistic career, Zhao Yunyu has extensively studied a wide range of paintings, including green and ink, gongbi and freehand brushwork Zhao Yunyu was educated inpainting his childhood, during his youth, and developed a love for traditional art. When he was instructed by Zhang Daqian in the 1940s, he had already returned to the teacher's artistic concept. In terms of creation, Zhao Yunyu follows Zhang Daqian's footprints and strives to get rid of the shackles of literati paintings. All landscapes, flowers, birds, figures, fruits and vegetables, grass worms, poultry, beasts, Buddhism and other paintings are all tried, and they all reach a certain height.  Zhao Yunyu's portraits include Buddhist figures, historical figures, opera figures and poetic characters. Religious figures are mostly from Buddhism, both Guanyin Bodhisattva and the Tiannian scattered flowers in Dunhuang. ...

Zhou Yansheng 周彦生 (1942~)

Zhou Yansheng 周彦生 (1942~) Zhou Yansheng, professor of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, master tutor, member of China Association of Americans, director of China Contemporary Fine Painting Society, director of Guangdong Artists Association, special painter of Guangdong Painting Academy, librarian of Guangdong Provincial Literature and History Museum, one of the top ten famous artists of Lingnan Painting School . In 1982, he graduated from the Graduate School of Flower and Bird Painting in the Chinese Painting Department of the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts with a master's degree. In 2002, he was selected as one of the top ten contemporary Chinese paintings in Guangdong. His works have won awards in the sixth, seventh, eighth and ninth national art exhibitions.
